Murphey's Law

Ahhhh what a weekend! I was supposed to go to California for 4th of July, but had to cancel the trip because my AC broke two weeks ago and I had a dog that was determined to roam the open range. So Roxy (similar to Jack) has been climbing the twelve foot chainlink fence to escape the confines of the kennel and greet me lovingly outside the garage door when I arrive home from work. Getting tired of this and realizing I do not want nor will I tolerate such an unruly canine campanion I promptly went to petco and got a shock collar. She is now living in the kennel in the house and learning my rules the hard way.

To make matters worse the upstairs AC has now gone out so my house, minus my room which has the working unit, is FREAKING HOT!!! The AC place is closed due to the holiday so I will have to try to work my work schedule around the repair man. Oh the drama!

Finally, Pugsley has decided that Roxy has a good deal. She gets to be in the cool house so he also is escaping out of the Kennel. I have had that thing for 2 yrs without an issue now I can't keep the dogs in it to save their lives. Drat! Maybe this is a sign to do the backyard . . . Problem is I am afraid of what else can go wrong if I start that particular project.

Can you speak callie?

I was listening to Callie talk tonight and just had to laugh as she says the funniest things. For example do you know what she means when she says "corn and beans?" I do! She means "Red Robin". What about "glossing?" Well that one is alittle easier she means flossing. It did take me a while to figure out what "hot taco" was, but then it hit me when she started wildly gesturing toward Del Taco and shouting "Hot Taco mom! Hot Taco!" Ahhh the joy of little kids.
